  •  2nd Screen Viewing Experiences:
    • Hulu delivered the highest frequency of video ads to its viewers with an average of 82Comscore VideoMetrix  
    • iPlayer Views on 2nd Screen reach 64% day after xmas: 
    • Aereo plans to be in 50 U.S. markets by 2015 
    • Only 4% of TV service subscribers know their TV Everywhere authentication login credentials
  • 2nd Screen Companion Experiences: 
    • 63 percent of consumers accessing synchronized content on the Second Screen say it makes them feel more connected to the shows they are watching. 
    • 91 percent of Second Screen viewers access asynchronous program content, yet only 42 percent have tried synchronizing their content experience to live TV 
    • More than 75 percent of TV viewers use smartphones or tablets while watching television, according to an Ericsson study released in November 2013 
  • 2nd Screen Growth:
    • In 2014, the worldwide tablet market is forecast to grow 47 percent 
    • 2nd Screen market grows to $8.9B by 2018 
    • Shazam active users grow 23% in last 6 months.  300 million users worldwide to more than 420 million; last July, it counted 70 million monthly active users. That number reached 86 million in December
